Blackened Great Helm: 3/4 View by royaloakarmoury Blackened Great Helm: 3/4 View by royaloakarmoury
German Great Helm, second half of 13th C. This model has been carefully crafted on the lines of an example from Schlossberg bei Dargen, now in Berlin; though shown here in an extrapolated finish of contrasting blackened and polished steel. 16 gauge throughout.

Nor in Canada, to my chagrin. I would do a good deal more business, and driving would be far more interesting.

Спасибо. Early manuscripts and tapestries have such colourful images of helmets, which tend to look so dull after having rusted for almost a thousand years, losing all of their original finish. So I heated this one red hot, then dipped it in oil, to create the blackness, then polished the cross to create texture and colour contrast.

Let me know if you ever need Orc armour, I ship internationally!
